WHAT IS A KERATIN TREATMENT?

A keratin treatment is an extremely powerful hair restorer that is able to optimally restore the hair and improve the condition of the hair. Keratin is therefore not a permanent straightener, but a restorative treatment!

MaxLiss keratin treatments offer intensive care, powerful strengthening and optimal hydration to dry, damaged and frizzy hair.

MaxLiss offers 4 different keratin treatments. Each focuses on different hair types, so that MaxLiss can offer the perfect care to everyone. For both fine hair that lacks volume and thick, curly hair that wants less curl and/or volume, MaxLiss offers a unique keratin treatment for every hair type and desired result.

Most keratin treatments are usually performed in a salon and leave hair looking straighter for up to 6 months. It gives the hair an intense glossy shine and can reduce frizz. The process means that we first wash your hair with the shampoo and then apply the keratin treatment to 80% dry hair, where it stays for about 40 minutes.

THE TREATMENT

1. Step one is to thoroughly wash the hair with the MaxLiss purifying shampoo to open the hair cuticle.
2. After 80% blow-drying, we divide the hair into 4 or 6 parts and one of the MaxLiss keratin treatments is carefully applied / massaged and combed through, so that it is absorbed into the hair. We let the keratin work for 40 minutes.
3. After the exposure time of 40 minutes, the keratin treatment is carefully rinsed and we blow-dry your hair style. Then the hair is sealed 10 to 12 times per lock using a titanium straightener.
4. Step 3 may differ in terms of hair dryness. We then leave the keratin in the hair after sealing and ask the customer to make an appointment for the after-treatment a day later or to do the after-treatment at home with the aftercare products.

TREATMENT DURATION

The treatment takes, depending on hair types, length and amount / thickness of hair, about 4 to 5 hours.
